As of today, Iron Fans Online will be considered a "closed site" and will no longer be updated.

Over the course of the last year, my interest in the Iron Chef programs dwindled to nothing. Iron Chef America never captured my attention like the original did, despite as much as I tried to watch it. I eventually found myself just not watching the show anymore. Iron Chef Japan has been in re-runs since 2004 and from what I've heard Food TV hasn't ordered new shows since 2004 and isn't planning to do so again. Again, I slowly lost my interest and enthusiam for the show and I eventually stopped watching.

With my lack of interest in the show, the site itself took its toll as well. I no longer pursued leads into Iron Chef news, updated the schedule, or did anything to keep the site "fresh". I found myself using my time working on other personal and work related projects instead.

I decided it was time to just pack it up and move on. Instead of the pulling the site altogether, I've opted to create an archive site. All the old news, chef bios, tv listings, faqs, etc... are all there for viewing.

I also uploaded an old copy of the original ironchef.com site for viewing.

To all my regular and once-in-a-while visitors, thanks for a great 6 years here at Iron Fans Online.
